FAQs
How does the puppy selection process work?
Litter deposits are taken once a pregnancy is confirmed. Puppy selection will take place based on the order that deposits are received but, as breeders, we reserve the first pick of the litter. Puppy selection takes place at approx. 7 weeks of age after puppy assessments are complete. This is so you have all the information needed to ensure you pick the best match for your family. You can select your puppy in person or through a virtual meeting.
What types of updates can I expect throughout the process?
We are very active on Instagram and Facebook and will post general puppy updates/pictures there so you can watch the litter grow with us! Families that have placed a deposit will receive emails with updates on curriculum the puppies are engaged in, along with puppy personality assessments so you are well prepared for puppy selection day.
What kind of health related care does my puppy get before coming home?
Your puppy will get a comprehensive health check by our vet between 6-7 weeks of age and will also get his/her first set of core vaccines. Puppies will be de-wormed every 2 weeks, beginning at 2 weeks of age. Your puppy will also come microchipped. You will receive all of these health records, along with upcoming due dates for exams and vaccines when your puppy is ready to go home.
Your puppy will come with a 2 year health guarantee. We recommend that you bring your new puppy to your vet within 72 hours of pick up.
When can I bring my puppy home?
Litter go home dates are at approx. 8 weeks of age and exact dates will be announced prior to puppy selection. You can pick your pup up locally at our home in Fulshear, Texas or we can make arrangements to meet you at our local airport or fly your puppy to you for an additional cost. For puppies needing to stay past their go home date, additional boarding fees of $25 per day may apply.
